Beth Ann Martin
all about Beth Ann!
Originally from Northern Virginia, I now live and call North Carolina home with my fiancé, Thomas and our fur-children, Kelly and Nelson. Maternal health has been a longtime passion of mine and it continues to grow. I love learning the most up to date practices and educating clients on making decisions that they are comfortable with.
I received my Master’s Degree in 2018 in Public Health with a focus on maternal and fetal health. Incorporating my grad work into time with clients is very rewarding. During college, I experienced a life-changing moment while working on humanitarian efforts in Uganda, Africa with a safe house for women and children. This was further confirmation I was being led to women’s health, and specifically, a career as a doula. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula with DONA International. I am also a certified lactation counselor and sit for my IBCLC boards September 2023.
I have experience working with those that have have struggled with infertility and persons with mental health concerns or disorders.
I look forward to connecting with you soon!
When I am not doula-ing or providing lactation support…
You can find me in the kitchen cooking, on the couch with a book in hand and my fur-child, Nelson MeowDoula or working out!
I aspire to help the birthing person throughout their pregnancy while maintaining a positive, and empowering environment. I look forward to supporting you through your journey of pregnancy, birth, and into parenthood.
